Petr Petrovich Pertsov (1868-1947), a critic, historian of art, poet, and publisher, actively participated in the literary life of his time. He was the editor of the religious and philosophical journal Novyi Put`. This book is his memoir about spiritual and literary life at the end of 19th-early 20th centuries and the main characters of this period. These include: D. Merezhkovskii, Z. Gippius, Vl. Solov`ev, V. Briusov, A. Blok, V. Rozanov, artists from the group Mir Iskusstva. This memoir was first published in 1933 in a very small printing. Appendices include other memoir prose by Pertsov, some of them are published for the first time. Name index.
