Language: RussianA. Belyi (1880-1934) was attached to his university classmate Aleksei Petrovskii (1881-1958) by a long, unclouded friendship. Even after Belyi`s death, Petrovskii continued to maintain relations with Belyi’s wife trying his best to help her to preserve Belyi’s literary and spiritual heritage. Unfortunately, a great many letters of Petrovskii to Belyi didn’t come down to us. But those of them that remained intact (1902-1932) are published unabridged for the first time in this book. They are extremely important as they shed light on the longstanding relations of these two vivid and extraordinary persons of the Silver Age.
