Language: RussianThis is the first monograph-album about Russian painter Lidiia Iakovlevna Timoshenko (1903-1976). She was a member of the artistic society "Krug Khudozhnikov" (1928-1930, St. Petersburg). Timoshenko managed to not cooperate with the soviet power and did not compromised her identity as an artist. She was married to well known Russian painters: first D. Zagoskin, then E. Kibrik. Timoshenko was also a book illustrator, including books by A. Pushkin. This book of her diaries, letters, and memoirs is a good source on the history of Russian painting and artistic intelligentsia. 147 color illustrations. List of exhibitions, catalog of her works, bibliography and name index.
