Language: RussianThis is annotated bibliography of works by and about the German scientist, geographer and traveler Alexander von Humboldt (1769-1859) in Russian literature. Von Humboldt visited Russia in 1829, and presented his plan of scientific studies on the territory of the Russian Empire. Many of his suggestions and plans were later brought into life. Humboldt traveled in the Urals, Altai and the Caspian Sea, and used the materials of his trip in his universally known book "Cosmos". The current volume covers not only books by Humboldt translated into Russian but also works about him and his influence on Russian science.
