This book studies the evolution of the social views of Petr Struve (1870-1944), the Russian economist and philosopher. He developed as a social thinker during three Russian revolutions and the of years of his emigration. Struve`s ideas on conservative liberalism and Russian statehood are compared with positions of other Russian social philosophers: B. Chicherin, S. Frank, and S. Bulgakov on one hand, and N.
