This is the third volume of the Russian Folklore Collection, Series “Bylinas”, started by the Institute of Russian Literature (Pushkinskii Dom). The first two volumes embrace bylinas of the Pechora River Region of the Russian North. Volume three includes bylinas of people living in the basin of a Siberian river Mezen.
