New Russian legislation regulating civil and property relations including relations concerning mentally disturbed persons has been adopted recently. A sharp rise in the number of forensic psychiatric expert examinations in civil procedure, as well as the appearance of new types of them require the specification and elaboration of new criteria of forensic psychiatric evaluation.
