Russian prince Petr Kropotkin (1842-1921) was one of the two founders of Russian anarchism along with another Russian nobleman Mikhail Bakunin. Though the doctrine itself started in Europe, it became widely known in its Russian versions. Kropotkin`s political ideas are not as well known as Bakunin`s, because Kropotkin happened to die in his homeland, and his political legacy was unwanted by the new Russia. This is a collection of Kropotkin`s major works on anarchism, including the largest one Ideals and Reality in Russian Literature, which studies the development of anarchic ideas in folk literature, philosophy, and in the works of Russian classics: from Pushkin to Dostoevskii. Many of his articles published in Russia 1917-1922 are reprinted in this book for the first time. Comments.
