This time Kurbatov published letters written to him by the writer and literary critic Aleksandr Borshchagovskii (b. 1912) for 1979-2002. Borshchagovskii was one of the theatrical critics who was persecuted as a "bezrodnyi kosmopolit" in 1949 and for many years was banned from Russian literature and theater. He published many books and plays after he was "rehabilitated". The two writers discuss the most sensitive issues of literature and current political life.
