This book is a collection of stories by Konstantin Vorob`ev (1919-1975), an Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn award winner. His first novel "Eto My, Gospodi…" about his life in German captivity and his three escapes from camps was sent to the Moscow magazine Novyi Mir in 1948, but was lost, and found only after the author’s death. It was first published in 1986. This collection includes 14 of his stories and novelettes.
