Aleksandr Shchuplov (1949-2006) collected modern folklore, slang words and expressions of different social levels of Russian society together with various youth non-formal groups: hippies, punks, huckers, diggers, bikers, rollers, "luvers", "mytkis", "metallists", "nostalgists", and drug addicts as well. Much of the collection consists of nicknames of Russian celebrities in politics, music, theater, TV, or in Russian "tusovka".
