Encyclopedia of imperial tradition of Russian thought

This encyclopedia is a summary of a large research and publishing project “Puti Russkogo Imperskogo Soznaniia” undertaken by Russian philosopher Mikahil Smolin (b. 1971). Smolin compiled and commented over 30 works of Russian writers of conservative orientation. This encyclopedia includes essays about Russian writers who, according to M. Smolin, contributed to forming a direction of thought which he called "imperial consciousness (or thinking)". This direction formulates a civilization basis of self-reliant and specific existence of the Russian Orthodox world as a Church and imperial entity.
