Fedorov, V.I Aleksandr Blagoslavennyi - Sviatoi Starets Fedor Tomskii"
Istoricheskoe Issledovanie
[ "Blessed Alexandr - St. Fedor Tomskii" : Historical study]
3d ed
Moscow: Amrita-Rus`, 2006 ISBN: 5943553517 Language: RussianThe circumstances of the sudden death of Aleksandr the First (1777-1825) in Taganrog raised a great deal of speculation and prompted legends about his further life. Some have tried to prove that the Russian monarch became a monk, and adopted another name. One version is that the emperor took the name Fedor Kuz`mich, led an ascetic life, enjoyed the respect of the people, died in 1864, and was buried in a monastery in the environs of Tomsk. According to V. Fedorov (b. 1951), the Tomsk mathematician, there is a lot of evidence in favor of this version. This book is one of the studies meant to confirm this version. It is based on graphological analysis of letters of Alexander the First and elder Fedor Kuz`mich which revealed rather significant similarities in their handwritings. Bibliography
