ISBN: 5224053455This is the last book by the NKVD General Pavel Sudoplatov (1907-1996). It includes his memoirs about the most famous operations of the Russian Intelligence Service in the 1941-1945. He became a burdensome witness during the Khrushchev epoch, and was erased from the history of the intelligence services and WWII. This book is not only about intelligence operations on the enemy`s line but also about cooperation and competition with intelligence of allied countries and confrontation with German counterintelligence, about difficult relations of the soviet power with their own intelligence service, and repressions against them.
