They spent many years in emigration in Paris and Cambridge. After his death she created his personal archive in the Russian Memorial museum. This book contains her memoirs, both written and recorded, which cover three Russian revolutions, the Civil and the Great Patriotic wars, the Brezhnev era and "perestroika". The book is provided with comments by P.E. Rubinin.
