Georgii Vladimov (Volosevich, 1931-2004) became a Russian classic during his life for his novels General i Ego Armiia, Tri Minuty Molchaniia, Vernyi Ruslan, and others. He was forced to emigrate in 1983 and returned to Russia in the 1990s. This book is the first monograph about this author as a writer and literary critic. The book is intended for teachers and students. Two books by G. Vladimov are also available: Tri Minuty Molchaniia. Vernyi Ruslan (2000); Vladimov, G.N. General i Ego Armiia (2001).
