Semenov “General Theory of Traditional Peasant Economy: Peasant Communal Production” (pp. 6-175) and voluminous excerpts from or complete classic works by P.P. Chubinskii, P.S. Efimenko, F.R. Ryl`skii, and V.V. Tarnovskii on the history of the issue published in 1854-1903. The second volume continues publications of the most significant works of Russian ethnographers, economists, and statisticians on the traditional agrarian economy. Extensive bibliography on the subject in Russian and foreign languages. All works included in this anthology have never been reprinted and became rare. Dictionary of special terms and obsolete words.
