The silhouette of the Kunstkamera became a symbol of the Russian Academy of Sciences. This serial is published by the Anthropology and Ethnography Museum which originated from the Kunstkamera, created by Peter the Great in 1714.
The first issue of the proceedings was published in 1928. The publication was resumed in 1993 with volume two. It contains articles on all Siberian history as well as the history of one the oldest cities of western Siberia, Omsk, its personalities, economy, culture and arts, handicrafts, religion, and architecture.
