Kholui, known throughout the world as a center of papier-mache lacquer miniatures and icon painting, is one of the oldest settlements near the city of Vladimir-Suzdal`skii. This album includes their works from the 17th century to date: icons, boxes, caskets, jewelry.
This is the fourth volume, book two, of the bio-bibliographical dictionary of painters of the peoples of the USSR. All information is as of 1983. Started in 1970. The fifth volume was published in 2002 (still available).
