This monograph contains results of research in the sphere of regional finance. The authors suggested mechanisms for improvement of the economic policy of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia): the debt settlement problem, determination of the Republic`s taxation potential, regional investment and financial policy. Special attention is paid to the budget system of the region, and to non-budgetary fund flows. Beside the state administration problems the authors investigated issues concerning development of commercial financial institutions, including credit and insurance organizations, problems of economic efficiency, and investment activity in the branches of the production sector of the regional economy.
