Sergei Iushenkov (1950-2003), a politician of the new generation, was assassinated last week in Moscow. He was formerly a vice-chairman of the party "Demokraticheskii Vybor Rossii", the editor of the newspaper "Demokraticheskii Vybor", and one co-chairmen of the new party Liberal Russia. In his book, Iushenkov analyzed the presidential and parliamentary election campaign of 1996-1997, its organization, and results. The author portrays the popular Russian politicians: B. El’tsin, A.
