Vladimir Khazan (b. 1952), professor of Russian literature at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, has lived in Israel since 1992. This book is about the Russian-Jewish literary ties and dialog in the twentieth century. He shows how the Russian and Jewish cultures enriched each other in this dialog.
