The three unconventional authors attack what they hold to be common historical misconceptions. This book, written by one of them, is about the parallels in the history of world culture. It shows that the images and portraits of one epoch and civilization actually belong another. Analysis of stylistic parallels in art and culture of Antiquity and the Middle Ages, made by the author, allowed him to come to an unusual conclusions. One of them, for example, is that the statues of Roman rulers, from Julius Caesar to Antoninus Pius, are, in fact, portraits of Byzantine emperors of Paleolog and Cantancuzenus dynasties.
