This book finishes the seven year series Bakhtin under Mask. According to editor of this series I.V. Peshkov and to the author of commentary V.L. Makhlin, there are several works by Mikhail Bakhtin`s disciples, P. Medvedev, V. Voloshinov, and I. Kanaev, that were in fact written by M. Bakhtin himself. This series started a long-term debate about their authorship in Russia and abroad. This last volume combines all previous publications of the series and adds new ones of the same authors plus extended textological commentary to all these texts. This commentary, in Makhlin`s and Peshkov`s opinion, puts an end to the discussion about the authorship of these works.
