A. Fomenko is known in modern Russian historiography as a founder of a new scholarly direction: the reconstruction of world historic chronology starting with the ancient world and Medieval times. He and his confederates question the commonly used chronology of history, particularly Russian history. This team of prolific authors made their contribution in rewriting the history of all the main areas of human activity. The current volume contains papers of their opponents, who argue with most of the conclusions of Fomenko`s group, and attempt to destroy the so called `new chronology`.
