This is the second volume of the new dictionary of Russian dialects of Siberia. Their history begins with the annexation of Siberia to the Russian empire in the 16th century. It continues with migrations from Russia, Ukraine, and Belorussia in the 18th-20th centuries. Preparation of this dictionary, started in 1964, is the result of numerous field studies by linguists from the Novosibirsk University. The first volume in two books (1999) and standing order are also available.
