This analytical report studies the integration process among post-soviet countries. The present situation is compared with the one before the disintegration of the USSR with the help of several indices of integration, new trends are identified, prerequisites and key factors of the formation of an integrated economy are defined. Special attention is paid to analysis of business structures, both state and inter-state, in stimulating the integration process. The brochure also includes minutes of the discussion at the presentation of this report in the Institute of International Economic and Political Studies (Moscow).
