The last work, called After Death, is a story about Ermolinskii`s efforts to publish Bulgakov`s works which finally succeeded with help of Bulgakov`s widow Elena Sergeevna. This book makes a pair with the book of memoirs of his wife, the artist Tatiana Lugovskaia Kak Zanaiu, Kak Pomniu, Kak Umeiu. Also included are memoirs about Ermolinskii, letters of M. and E.
