This book celebrates the 75th anniversary of the Magadan Theater. In the last ten years the theater was led by the author of this book. Magadan was for many years one of the largest centers of Stalin`s Gulag in the Far North (Kolyma). Among its stars were artists persecuted during the Great terror: Vadim Kozin, G. Katsman, V. Miagkov, Eddy Rozner, and L. Varpakhovskii. The theater started as the Gulag theater, and continues its traditions.
