It is based on the pre-revolutionary (1886-87) collected works compiled by his widow A.F. Aksakova, the oldest daughter of F.I. Tiutchev. This new collected works will include works left out of the previous one as well as his letters and other personal documents. The first volume of the collection contains his articles on the key issues of the Slavophile movement: the Slavic world, the role of Russia as the Orthodox state in the world especially towards her brothers in faith.
