Many of the famous buildings of St. Petersburg , both public and private, were designed by the Italian architect Giacomo Quarenghi (1744-1817). He also worked in other cities of Russia. This is a catalog of his drawings, plans and drafts, as well as photographs of his buildings. His personal works presented in the exhibition in the State Hermitage show that he was not only a genius architect but also a talented artist.
