The Piskarev`s chronicler

Origin, sources, authorship

This is the first monographic study of the chronicle by so called Piskarevskii chronicler (the version of the chronicle belonged to merchant Piskarev). The monument includes detailed information on the building of towns, military marches, and Oprichnik activities.
