Conversations with Mikhail Gefter

Mikhail Gefter (1918-1994) was a historian of the economic history of Russian capitalism, the author of over 100 publications. A member of the presidential council under Boris El’tsin, Gefter resigned from the council after the storming of the Russian White House by El’tsin supporters. He created his own style of philosophical conversations-dialogues. Gleb Pavlovskii, one of his conversationalists and students, restored his dialogues with the teacher in this book.
