This study denounces Stalin myth about the advantage of Russian aviation compared with the Germans on the eve of WWII. Having compared both air forces by operative skills and tactics, qualification of the leadership and pilots, and finally the airplanes, the author came to the same conclusion as the Russian ace A.I.
