This book covers the history of the Lokot Republic, a semi-autonomous region in Central Russia near the city of Briansk occupied by Nazi Germany during the Second World War. The Lokot Autonomous District, a specially formed Russian Liberation Army led by Kaminskii, assisted the Germans in policing the area. This unit became the 29th division of the army SS in 1944.
