This is the three-volume fundamental monograph on the history the 1812 Patriotic War in Russia. The first volume "Snosheniia Rossii s Inostrannymi Derzhavami pered Otechestvennoi Voinoi 1812", previously published only in periodicals, covers the relationships between Russia with several European countries on the eve of the war. It is based on diplomatic correspondence. The second volume (ISBN 9785902073703) focuses on the first stage of the Patriotic War of 1812. It describes Napoleon’s invasion of Moscow and the events in Russia during that period. The third volume (ISBN 9785902073857) describes Napoleon’s expulsion from Russia: from the abandoning of Moscow by the Russians until Napoleon`s march over the Berezina River (November 1812). This is the first complete publication of the monograph volume as a book, it was partly published chapter by chapter in the series Russki Arkhiv (1875-1892). Historian A.N. Popov (d. 1877) (2.665 kg.)
