These are the memoirs of the wife of Igor Golembiovskii (1935-2009), a well-known Russian journalist of the 20th - 21st centuries. Igor Golembiovskii was editor-in-chief of the newspaper Izvestiia in 1991-1997 and Novye Izvestiia. He was not a newspaper oligarch in modern understanding but rather a recognized leader of the liberal-democratic information world. He became an unwanted person when real journalism died in Russia in the early 21st century called by many the "null” years, and died abroad. This memoir tells about Golembiovskii`s professional life.
