This book is about the All-Russian Church Council, first since the end of the 17th century local council of the Russian Orthodox Church, which opened on August 15 (28), 1917 in the Assumption Cathedral of Moscow Kremlin. Its most important decision was to restore the Patriarchate of the Russian Church, which ended the synodal period in the history of the Russian Church.
