The report summarizes the results of the activities of Luzhkov as mayor of Moscow, the largest Russian city, in the last 17 years. It covers the quality of life of Muscovites and guests of the city, corruption in the local government, roads, criminal situation, ecology, and the housing situation. Luzhkov accused both authors of slander, and filed a slander suit against them. However, the court ruled against Luzhkov and his wife Baturina on all charges except one. The court simply asked Nemtsov to withdraw the following statement: "Baturina`s business is successful nowhere except in the city of Moscow."
