This is the fifth volume of the series “Pushkin and his Contemporaries” published by the Pushkin Commission of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It continues the tradition of two other series of academic publications: Pushkin i ego Sovremenniki (1903-1930) and Vremennik Pushkinskoi Komissii (1963-1996). The main goal of the commission is the preparation of new academic collected works of A. Pushkin. This issue includes memoirs, reviews, works in progress, and events calendar. The current volume contains unpublished political articles by P.A. Viazemskii, the will of V.A. Zhukovskii, comments to the recent volume of the complete works of Zhukovskii`s poetry, etc. Indices.
