This is the second volume in the series Pamiatniki Russkoi Agiograficheskoi Literatury. The current volume includes the Life of Antonii Siiskii (1478-1557), founder of St. Troitsk Antonii Siiskii Monastyr` on the River Sii (Russian North). The first book in the series was Zhitie Kirilla Belozerskogo: Tekst i Slovoukazatel` (2000). These two works are part of a database, a result of studies in quantitative linguistics, undertaken by scholars from St. Petersburg University since the 1970s. By now it includes about fifty manuscripts and about 500,000 words. 85 versions of The Life are so far known. This book is a little known one by Tsarevich Ioann. It is in Old Russian.
