This is the first publication of recently declassified documents on the history of the Soviet-Finnish war of 1939-1940. This war, also called The Winter War, lasted only 105 days, but despite its transient character showed all the weaknesses and characteristics of the Russian army. The documents collected in the book cover: the military operation, political and diplomatic activities of both countries before, during, and after the war.
