This book continues the author`s previous book " Stalin`s Order" and argues with the antistalin`s myth about "golodomor". Basing on Mark Tauger`s articles and other sources S. Mironov proves four points: The bad harvest of 1932 was the main reason of the famine in the next year; The bad harvest had several reasons, among them drought was not the most important one; The bad harvest caused famine practically in all of the USSR, particularly in Ukraine, the North Caucasus and the Volga River region; Stalin and the Politburo did not have enough resources because of the 1931 bad harvest, but did all they could to prevent the recurrence of the famine.
