This is the third book in the series Russian Hagiographic Texts. This book and the series in general is a result of studies in quantitative linguistics undertaken by scholars from St. Petersburg University since the 1970s. The manuscript was written in the 16th century and includes interesting information on monastery life in Northern Rus and the south-east Volga River region. The "Life" is loaded into a database which indexes the entire text and creates a dictionary of Russian Hagiographic literature. Reprint of the Life in Church Slavonic, word and name indices.
