This monograph deals with less studied issue of Russian Old Believers: relationships among various Old Believer non-priest accords (Bespopovskie Soglasiia). Aleksandr Mal`tsev, one of the most talented Russian archeographers, became widely known among his colleagues after the first monograph "Starovery-Stranniki v XVIII - Pervoi Polovine XIX v." (1996, also available). The Bespopovskii movement started with the Solovki Rebellion (1667-68). This book was almost ready when its author died under tragic circumstances in 2005. The monograph presents a detailed panorama of the spiritual search of the non-priest branch of Old Believers and contains rich material for the theme of "peasant theology", its constants and dynamics.
