Aleksandr Lappo-Danilevskii (1863-1919), historian and philosopher, was one of the contributors to the collected work “Issues of Idealism” published in 1902, along with famous philosophers S.A. Askol`dov, N.A. Berdiaev, S.N. Bulgakov, S.L. Frank, B.A. Kistiakovskii, etc. He belonged to the St. Petersburg Historical School and left works in many areas of Russian history of the 17th-18th centuries.
