Автодокументальные Женские Тексты в Русской Литературе Первой Половины XIX Века

Many personal documents (diaries, memoirs and letters) of women of the first half of the nineteenth century have not gotten proper attention . Some of them were used as sources for the biographies of famous men, but were not analyzed as sources on their authors: what they write about themselves as women. This monograph analyzes many autobiographical materials to see how these women discuss and create an acceptable for them pattern of femininity. Among the sources used are biographical materials of N. Durova, N. Gertsen, G. Gerveg, A. Iakushkina, A. Kern, A. Olenina, etc. Bibliography.
