This is the first biography of the writer and translator Genrikh Sapgir (1928-1999). He, Igor` Kholin, and Vsevolod Nekrasov were leaders of a new literary direction, called the Lianozovo School or avant-garde two. Sapgir was an active participant of all literary actions such as the festivals of the 1990s. He even died on his way to one of his presentation. This book was written by two historians of Russian literature who also edited the first academic publication of Sapgir`s verses (Akademicheskii Proekt, 2004), also available.
