This is the next volume of the unnumbered collected works of N. Berdiaev (1874-1948), a leading Russian religious philosopher. He contributed to "Vekhi" in 1909, a publication prepared by a group of Russian thinkers, who criticized the ideology and tactics of the socialist revolutionary wing of the Russian intelligentsia, and declared the predominance of the spiritual over the social. From 1922 Berdiaev lived in exile. This book contains his articles of 1906-1909, among them: The Sick Russia, Russia and the West, Prevailing Over Decadence, The Discord Between the Russian Church and State, etc. An attachment contains articles by Ellis, V.P.
