Artem Veselyi (Nikolai Kochkurov, 1899-1938) was one of many soviet writers repressed by the social system to which he devoted his talent and his life. He became known for his novel about the Civil War "Rossiia, Krov`iu Umytaia". This book is the story of his life and works told by his two daughters based on the writer`s personal documents and other documents of that time. Also included are memoirs by his friends and colleagues.
